For more efficient work in the assembly of rolling doors on truck bodies, a specialized trolley was needed, particularly suitable for transporting equipment. The client emphasized the importance of a safe braking function of the roll container and the ability to roll the floor drilling machine onto the bridge without obstacles. Additionally, a special focus was placed on ergonomic and safe working for employees, as well as a stable, reliable, and standard-compliant execution.

Our Solution
Design and Functionality of the Trolley
The developed trolley with a drive-over flap is characterized by its adaptable and ergonomic design. A front-end drive-over flap, lockable with detent pins in a 90° position, allows for easy bridging of height differences.
User-Friendly Handling and Safety
A handle with a dead man's brake is provided for moving the trolley, while ledges on the screen-printed plate on the long sides serve as fall protection. The handlebar with SoftGrip coating offers ergonomic comfort, slip resistance, and cold insulation.
Chassis and Braking Mechanisms
The chassis consists of a standard Bowden cable, two steering and two fixed casters with a diameter of 200 mm made of solid rubber. The steering casters can also be used as fixed casters using direction locks. Additionally, a drum brake and dead man's brake integrated into the fixed casters are insensitive to dust, moisture, and oil.

The platform of the trolley has a length of 900 mm, a width of 600 mm, and a fixed height of about 300 mm. The surface is made of a 12 mm thick wood screen-printed plate.
